Absolutely delicious food, simply and well presented. The owner is very friendly and a passionate advocate for both healthy balanced eating, and his local area of Nezu. If you are anywhere near Ueno Zoo or Tokyo National Musuem, this is a great option for a good meal.

The curry is amazing here and, not only that, the concept is very interesting: healthy balanced life through food. The owner is a very sweet man who will explain to you the concept and teach you about the area the restaurant is in – which, even if next to Ueno Park, is in a small quiet street with mostly Japanese customers. If you want to enjoy Japanese curry, this is the place!

This is some of the best food I had in Japan. Soul nourishing stuff. Konda-san and his wife really care about the ingredients they put in. They really believe in what they're doing - good food, good ingredients, a healthy and balanced life. Very friendly, warm service. If you're in the Ueno area you must go here.

Wonderful experience here! The owner speaks fairly good English and was very passionate about healthy food. I had the minced beef curry with an extra side of grilled garlic stem with mushrooms sautéed in butter. It was extraordinarily delicious. At the end they served a free green tea with chocolate. Please come!

My friend and I were looking for a good curry joint and happened to stumble upon this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. It would be an understatement to say that the service and quality of the food is good. The dishes aren't just good, they are absolutely superb. And the service is essentially Japanese hospitality at it's finest.This mom-and-pop curry shop is positively unique. The man who owns the curry shop (who speaks excellent English) takes pride in calling his curry his own creation. It isn't Japanese-style curry, nor is it South Asian-style curry. His creations are one-of-a-kind and are absolute must-eats for anyone looking for a quite, relaxed, and delicious restaurant to dine in.

The owner started this place with the concept of helping people on their path to wellness. The food is created to provide a balanced diet. You will leave feeling full, but not heavy.

My husband and I were walking back to Hotel Graphy when we smelled the curry from this restaurant and had to stop in. We at down and we're presented with placards in English about the menu items, special items and the restaurant concept. The restaurant is based on the idea of healthy eating and healthy lifestyle especially from walking. I was very impressed by the concept and the design of the menu items. Hubs and I both ordered the set meal with keema curry (I got medium spicy and he got extra spicy) and garlic greens as the special appetizer. The meal was absolutely beautiful served on a tray with miso soup, sauteed vegetables, and dessert. The spice is more of a flavor spice rather than heat, but hub's extra spicy had more heat (though not a crazy amount). We ate every last bit and then chatted with the owner a bit. We thanked him for the delicious meal and the unique experience that I'm sure I will not be able to replicate in the US.

A very homely restaurant with an amazing set of curry. The vegetables were tasty and perfectly cooked and the curry was a good amount of spicy. Ask for the homemade chili oil - it adds a subtle spice and complements all the dishes.
